Ransomware - How It Works and Recovery

Ransomware is installed on your system when you open an infected or executable file. Often .exe extension on Windows computers are the most susceptible and infected. Even a simple Word document (.docx) may run a macro that allows the cryptovirus to start its process. The files are then encrypted.

The good news a data recovery expert can often help. Often a computer has not lost the data, the data can be recovered or some ransomware programs use outdated encryption and some of the encryption techniques have even been broken. In all of these list scenarios, data recovery is possible.
